About Code Ninjas:
Code Ninjas is the leader in after-school coding and technology education. We teach kids (ages 5-14) to code through their love of video games and technology, while having fun & learning in a space that feels safe & encourages them to create! We believe in teaching kids how to learn through coding and STEM, so that they are empowered to learn and feel confident towards a world that is becoming increasingly driven by technology….Plus, we’re a fun and flexible place to work! Responsibilities
Our curriculum is self-paced, meaning that each student comes in and continues where they left off – no lectures. Your main job is to go through that curriculum then help guide students through it. You’re paid while you are learning our curriculum!
Explain student progress to parents
Welcome potential new students & help them build a game to show to their parents
Grade student assignments
Help develop curriculum for special events
Maintain a clean & sanitized classroom
Potentially work onsite at one of our partner schools or organizations in Studio City, Sherman Oaks and surrounding neighborhoods.
Preferred Availability & Job Type
Part-Time
Available at least 1-2 days out of the week
Monday-Friday from 3-7pm or Saturday from 10am-3pm
Up to 10 hours per week (or more based on your availability), afternoon and weekend shifts at our centers or onsite at our partner schools
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50-20.00 per hour

Weekdays - Monday to Friday
Weekends - Saturday only
Ability to commute/relocate:
Studio City/Sherman Oaks, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
