    Job Description

    REMOTE SALESFORCE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT

    Location: National, Remote, Anywhere, USA

    Company

At CodeScience, Inc., we help companies build products for the Salesforce AppExchange. Founded in 2008, we were a founding member of the Salesforce Product Development Organization (PDO) program, and are the only company to achieve the Master Navigator PDO designation. Our clients’ success is rooted in CodeScience’s ability to support them through every stage of their lifecycle from ideation to deployment. We also believe in having fun while doing it.

    Position

At Codescience, Technical Architects are the champions of technical quality and the go to gurus when it comes to platform knowledge. As a Master Technical Architect, you can think like a Business architect, solve like a Technical Architect and present like a Solution Architect. You have experience as a Sales Engineer, Software Consultant and Product Manager. You listen to and collaborate with key client stakeholders and executives on their vision; know how to achieve that vision with the right combination of people, process and technology; and are able to execute your ideas with intense and thoughtful purpose and leadership. You must love learning new things and assimilating new technologies into your solutions. Our success depends on you thinking creatively, owning projects and building client relationships.

    Success Predictors

    • You are a Salesforce CTA or have proven experience as a program architect implementing the most complex solutions at enterprise scale

    • You are confident in designing solutions and leading technical teams at scale (Think of multiple scrum teams distributed across multiple time zones, multi org implementations and complex integrations)

    • You possess the verbal and written dexterity to be able to have conversations with global C-Suite executives and to also get down to a fine level of detail with developers

    • Ability to work with developers, guide them to a solution and if needed, alter your solution based on their feedback

    • You loathe cubicles and value flexibility and challenging work over the 9-to-5 beige office job

    • You are curious, able to tease information from people and willing to determine a solution from several possible alternatives

    Responsibilities

    • Part of your time would be spent keeping up to date on the latest Salesforce technologies like Evergreen, Platform Events, LWC, Einstein Analytics, Platform Cache, Shield, etc.

    • Collaborating with the key client stakeholders to understand their business objectives and shepherding them through the intricacies of the Salesforce platform

    • Designing an elegant solution that achieves the customer’s objectives and is secure, scalable & maintainable

    • Leading all members of a project/program in implementing your design including review of development artifacts to ensure the solution adheres to platform and architectural best practices

    • Record hours worked on a daily basis

    • Be a proactive technical leader who can collaborate and lead the projects along side of product owners, project managers and technical leads

    • Guide project teams by designing, implementing and maintaining a devops strategy that suits the project methodology

    • Look for ways to contribute to internal knowledge base and serve as a mentor to other technical architects at Codescience

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience and expertise in leading development and architecture efforts across an enterprise program

    • 7+ years Salesforce platform experience, 4+ years in a lead design/architecture role. While we are a PDO and value PDO experience, we will accept SI/Enterprise experience
