    Coding Dojo is an industry-leading coding bootcamp whose flagship program is unmatched: we teach 3 full stacks in 3 months— a mixture of which can include Python, MEAN, MERN, Rails, C#, or Java.     The curriculum developer role with Coding Dojo is a new full-time position that is designed with our students' outcomes in mind. The ideal candidate comes with a passion for web development and education with impeccable writing & grammar skills.  On top of that, you have a knack for recording & producing videos or it's a skill you want to grow, you pride yourself on creating high quality content for ALL learning types, you create & follow processes where necessary, and most importantly, you are aligned with Coding Dojo's mission to transform lives through programming literacy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Keep assigned curriculum up to date on the latest best practices while following strict version control

    • Make large-scale improvements to improve overall student experience

    • Address multiple learning styles creatively through the curriculum

    • Follow the Coding Dojo curriculum guidelines

    • Uphold the process of tracking and prioritization of curriculum changes

    • Teach your curriculum changes to understand what is successful and what is not

    • When possible, attend both technical and teaching conferences to ensure we are providing the best content

    • Perform extensive research on the stacks we are teaching to make sure we are promoting best practices and covering the most important content for today's web development world

    • Lead Coding Dojo instruction staff in stack-specific curriculum meetings to deliver updates as well as exchange ideas and collect feedback.

    • Report changes effectively throughout instruction staff and oversee the results of those changes

    • Occasionally create / research new curriculum for B2B contracts

    • Create new curriculum plans for new course offerings

    • Influence the development of curriculum editing processes for future versions of the Learn Platform

    • Address curriculum errors reported by students

    • May include teaching & supporting 1 Online Part-Time Flex cohort

    PERFORMANCE METRICS (KPIS):

    • 8.0+ NPS score per assigned curriculum
    • 90% Belt Pass Rate per assigned curriculum
    • Less than 10% Drop Rate per assigned curriculum
    • Less than 20 outstanding Reported Mistakes per assigned curriculum

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1.5+ years teaching experience in Coding Dojo, or relevant external teaching and curriculum development experience with a focus on web development technologies
    • Bachelor's degree, in addition to one (1) year of relevant work experience within the past ten (10) years
    • Associates degree, in addition to two (2) years of relevant work experience within the past ten (10) years
    • Secondary education certificate of completion, in addition to four (4) years of relevant work experience within the past ten (10) years
