    Seeking a Cyber Security Instructor to deliver intermediate and advanced cyber security training to our clients. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise and be a current practitioner in relevant technical disciplines

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create the content/curriculum of the Cyber Security program that will lead to one of the industry acknowledged certifications
    • Conducts a full time training course in one or more topic areas pertaining to: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH, and CompTIA Security+
    • Identifies skill level of participants and aligns delivery of course material to match individual students' needs.
    • Demonstrates consistent classroom and student management to ensure a positive, successful learning experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Software Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
    • Experience as an instructor/trainer including planning, scheduling, and delivering cyber security and related training programs and materials.
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, results-driven and well organized.
    • Excellent communication skills

    • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Information Security Advisor (CISA)
    • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Teach Coding Dojo's Cyber Security programs
    • Facilitate group discussions, demos, in-class activities and feedback & coaching sessions
    • Prepare students for success by providing coaching in all aspects of their journey towards becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers
    • Provide actionable feedback on student's soft and hard skills
    • Follow industry trends related to Cyber Security
    • Play a hands-on role in curriculum development, use what you learn from working with students to make our curriculum world class
    • Day to day instruction of students, following a well-curated curriculum, supplemented with your own professional experiences
    • Implement state law policies relating to career / vocational schools, such as enforcing student attendance, the grading of assignments, etc.
    • Gather and report on student metrics
    • Participate in occasional project and curriculum development, as well as curriculum refinement
    • Participate on and off campus activities, including but not limited to: orientation, open houses, student events, graduations, tech talks and workshops related to Cyber Security
    • Participate in professional training, certification, so you stay fresh!

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    You must have proficient Cyber Security and Information Technology experience, preferably in a leadership role. Please ensure you meet or exceed the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, CIS, MIS or related IT degree from an accredited college or university
    • Current certifications in CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, OSCP or similar
    • Understanding of standard professional certification processes
    • Knowledge of information security concepts and best practices including encryption, application security, penetration testing and computer forensics
    • Experience using a desktop or enterprise-level virtualization technologies
    • Proven skills with TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN networking. Strong packet analysis knowledge
    • Must have scripting abilities in one or more - PowerShell, BASH, Python, C, Assembly, and JavaScript/CSS/HTML
    • Familiarity with the latest security vulnerabilities, advisories, incidents, penetration techniques, understanding of attacks, and determination of countermeasures
    • Experience installing maintaining, and troubleshooting information technology systems including Windows, Cisco and Linux technologies
    • Experience with Information & cyber security operation, governance, assurance and compliance
    • Experience in educational materials development – a plus
    • Teaching and leading teams experience a big plus
    • A combo of cyber security, professional certifications and education in your background is preferred
