    Teaching Assistant - Blockchain - part time remote position. This position is working in Arabia time zone (overnight hours in the US).

    The curriculum developer role with Coding Dojo is a new full-time position that is designed with our student outcomes in mind. The ideal candidate comes with a passion for web development and education, impeccable writing & grammar skills, recording & producing videos is something you already do or is a skill you want to grow, you pride yourself on creating high quality content for ALL learning types, you create & follow processes where necessary, and most importantly, you are aligned with Coding Dojo's mission to transform lives through programming literacy.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Occasionally support Instructors through assisting in teaching through small lectures, and live demos.
    • Conduct reviews of assignments with students.
    • Grading of assignments, quizzes, and other projects by students.
    • Enforce the 20-minute rule for class attendance.
    • Frequent check-ins with students (every 20 minutes depending), to identify what students are working on and how to support their learning.
    • Provide student feedback to the lead instructor.
    • Create and support a fun atmosphere for learning.
    • Comfortable with supporting students remotely via Zoom & chat forums.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    YOU MUST HAVE PROFICIENT BLOCKCHAIN & CRYPTOCURRENCY EXPERIENCE. Please ensure you meet or exceed AT LEAST one of the following:

    • B.S. degree in computer science or a related technical degree from an accredited college or university
    • Hands-on experience working in a development or engineering capacity in blockchain as either a blockchain engineer (contributing to the core of of Bitcoin, or Ethereum, or any other blockchain); or as a dApp developer building global production applications on the blockchain on top of Ethereum, Stellar, QTUM, etc.
    • Hand-on experience with Solidity, Truffle, Mist, Remix, Solium, Parity, Geth, ERC-20, ERC-721, Docker containers, MyEtherWallet, etc
    • Working knowledge of Product Management and the lifecycle from ideation to launch will be helpful.
    • Professional experience as a product analyst, product manager, policy maker, investor, financial analyst, marketing manager, user experience, program management or domain expert from the technology industry.
    • Working knowledge in fundamental blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts.
    • Am up to date with blockchain and cryptocurrency news, trends, and advances.
    • Have a clean background check: no prior felony convictions or issues when it comes to financial transactions, and paid your taxes.
    • Have experience handling and working with cryptocurrency.
    • Be able to thoughtfully talk about a blockchain or crypto project you are working on or have worked on in the past (whether professionally or personally).
    • Familiarity with product management concepts such as problem definition, strategy, user stories & epics, wireframes, user experience, agile methodologies - as blockchains and cryptocurrencies are technology products/platforms themselves, so having this knowledge is important to this space.
