    EMAIL COPY WRITER - FULL TIME, REMOTE

    We're looking for someone to drive the customer engagement lifecycle marketing strategy for Coding Dojo on a national scale with an emphasis on mid-to-low funnel conversion rate optimization. Your challenge is to lead in the building and execution of scalable, predictable and repeatable programs that achieve growth targets while improving customer retention. In addition to owning marketing touchpoints, you'll lead content-driving and optimization initiatives by supporting copy writing efforts to drive conversions across our marketing and sales funnels across our product lines.     WEEKLY MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Execution of email marketing campaigns and across the U.S. market.
    • Refresh copy on a consistent basis to support content-optimization testing with our analytics team to drive engagement and conversions.
    • Conduct QA on emails to ensure accuracy of assets, copy, and links prior to deployment.
    • Develop and perform A/B tests on key email components (subject lines, creative, timing, segmentation, etc.) to improve and drive the desired campaign results.

    OTHER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with designers and other email marketing members to produce clear, engaging, and aesthetic email copy and templates.
    • Assist in custom CSS/HTML coding for responsive email templates.
    • Stay up to date on current trends and best practices happening in the email development community.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2 years email marketing experience.
    • Excellent attention to detail and high level of organization to build and manage multiple campaigns occurring simultaneously.
    • Flexibility, able to adjust on the fly to changes in scope, deadlines or asset availability.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while proactively sharing timely. status updates and information with partners.
    • Knowledge of email concepts, design and best practices.
    • Experience with at least one major Email Service Provider (ESP).  Hubspot experience preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft 360 or GSuite for collaborative work.
    • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, preferably for email.
    • Must have reliable internet and equipment to perform all job duties.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • College Degree preferred.
    • 2 years content marketing or copywriting experience.
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Dreamweaver.
