Coffman Engineers is growing, and we are looking for an HR ASSISTANT to join our awesome Human Resources team in downtown Seattle! This position is responsible for general HR tasks for the Seattle office, as well as helping other Coffman offices when needed. The successful candidate will enjoy working directly with employees; be detail-oriented; be comfortable juggling multiple priorities; enjoy working as part of a tight-knit team; and possess a “can-do” attitude. A high degree of confidentiality and tact are key success factors for this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support day-to-day HR operations in the following areas: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, HR data management/reporting, affirmative action planning, and continuing education tracking.
• Collaborate with and support HR Team Members throughout the company.

Qualifications

• AA degree in applicable field strongly preferred; four-year degree in HR or related field is a plus.
• General knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
• Strong organizational ability; detail oriented; high degree of accuracy.
• Superior communication and customer service skills.
