Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated CIVIL ENGINEER with a minimum of seven years of experience and the ability to plan, organize, direct, market, and supervise project activities. Although we currently provide limited civil engineering services to our clients, the LA region needs an experienced civil engineer interested in helping us grow our service opportunities.

This civil engineering position in LA/OC is an opportunity for a motivated individual to build this service line and team. Be part of this exciting opportunity and work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration required
  • Registration in California preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering work experience including:
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Participating on multifaceted projects
  • Leading design team efforts
  • Managing project team for budget and schedule control
  • Experience with relevant software systems
  • Local AHJ experience and relationships a plus
  • DSA/OSHPD experience a plus
• Supervising, estimating, and negotiating contracts
• Developing proposals, RFPs, and other marketing support activities
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to foster long term client relationships
• Excellent time management skills
