We are seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with three or more years of experience to assist in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures for our Orange County office located in Newport Beach. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow in a multidiscipline engineering office, and be willing to have fun.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Perform structural analysis, design and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects
• Be part of a team of engineers that collaborates with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings
• Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimal complications.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• Registration as a P.E. in California
• 3 years minimum of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures, including seismic design per the CBC.
• Experience with computer analysis software systems
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Being comfortable consulting to architectural practices
• Working as part of a multi-discipline design team
