We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Designer/Drafter with four to seven years of experience to support the structural engineering department in our San Diego office. The successful candidate will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.  The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow in a multidiscipline engineering office, and be willing to have fun.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years’ experience in drafting and design (experience in structural buildings and framing preferred).
• Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.
• Possess advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.  
• Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and Revit design tools.
• Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
• Able to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
• Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.
