Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Civil Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to challenging projects. This individual should be dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented with an interest in consulting/design engineering. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required.
• Registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Three-five years of professional engineering experience with design, permitting, and construction assistance in a variety of market sectors related to site development.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; technical studies; and preparation of public improvement, grading, storm water management, and utility plans.
• Experience in coordinating with a multi-discipline design team.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working with counterparts in other offices to share workload when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A positive, can-do-attitude.
