Job Description

This position serves as the expert for the planning and technical execution and oversight of all online and digital marketing campaigns for Cogent Analytics a Management Consulting firm located in Greensboro, NC. As the Digital Marketing Strategist, we are looking for a special combination of skills that encompass both front end strategies for online digital marketing, social platform marketing and SEO/SEM expertise; along with some familiarity with back end skills in website design and development. Experience in HTML, CSS, and using WordPress and other website platforms is desirable as is experience in using Adobe Creative Suite to execute design adjustments or create new graphics. The ability to analyze the results of campaigns using Google Analytics, SEMRush or similar is also desirable.

Required Education/Experience:

• Proven experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns

• Experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software

• Experience implementing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

• Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google AdWords, GTMetrix

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite

• Familiarity with web design/development and HTML/CSS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and project management skills

• Self-starter who needs little supervision to stay on task or take initiative

• An eye for critiquing visual media (videos, images) for marketing uses

• Experience with Hootsuite a plus

• BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
