    Title: Coil Insulation Technician

    Shift: First Shift, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    Location: North Canton, OH

    Salary: $18 - $20/hour, based on experience + overtime

    Coil Technician Role:

    The Coil Technician is responsible for building and repairing various components for induction heating and melting applications. This role ensures the production of high-quality products from blueprints, instructions, or existing products at our client's North Canton, OH location.

    Coil Technician Responsibilities:

    • Build and repair coils, furnaces, inductors, buss work, and transformers
    • Demonstrate the ability to work safely in an industrial environment
    • Mix and install various types of refractory, including dry vibe, wet ram, and castable
    • Work with a variety of materials, including copper, brass, stainless steel, and rigid fiberglass insulation
    • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble components

    Coil Technician Reporting Relationships:

    The Coil Technician reports to the Production Supervisor and does not have any direct reports.

    About You:

    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Have at least 3 years of experience as a Coil Technician or similar role
    • Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
    • Physically able to work in a hot, dusty, and occasionally loud environment
    • Comfortable working in the presence of welding fumes and other industrial smells
    • Able to lift and move heavy materials
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols
    • Have experience with mixing and installing various types of refractory
