Brief: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a similar field. Recognition of certifications which include Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Management of US, Canadian and Australian finances, accounts and management reporting, assisting CFO and accounts payable along with production personal on site with requirements to capture and audit operations. Location: Based in Norton, VA. Responsibilities: * Review and preparation of monthly management accounts including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, notes to accounts and cashflow report. * Payroll management. * Maintenance of 401k, medical schemes and Insurances including workers compensation. * Maintain reconciliation of prepayments including prepaid insurances and posting monthly journals. * Maintain register of loans accrue interest and posting monthly journals. * Maintenance of current and non-current liabilities and movement from non-current to current. Post journals where applicable. * Maintenance of loan account between LLC and Pty Ltd companies, journal currency exchange gain/loss on monthly basis. * Maintenance of asset register, depreciation and amortization schedule, posting monthly journals. * US tax advice and representation if required. * Production royalty payments and auditing of mine resources development. * General invoicing, purchase orders and payments. * Sales invoicing and debtor control. * Maintaining Government permit registers across multiple US States. * Executing the company's financial strategy. * Developing plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure. * Managing mergers and acquisitions. * Assisting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop financial plans. * Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers. * Managing income and expenditure accounts * Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data. * Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations. * Ad hoc reporting Renumeration: Salary based on experience with 401k, medical, optical and life insurance.
