The assistant manager is responsible for assisting the FOH Manager in the daily operations of our fast paced, fine dining restaurant. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) guest experience, employee management and development, cleanliness, inventory control, and planning private events for guests. The assistant manager must comply with all company standards, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent time management skills, ability to communicate in a professional manner, up to date wine knowledge, be detail oriented, and have a minimum of 3 years of fine dining restaurant management background. The position is for 5 shifts a week Tuesday through Saturday, including holidays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ideally, 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
Ideally, 3+ years of experience customer service management
Extensive food and wine knowledge
Computer literacy
Familiarity with restaurant management software
Experience in event planning
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Good financial management skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
Preferred skills: Experience with Resy, Toast POS, and Restaurant365
