Job Summary
As a Shift Lead / Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the store’s success during your shift. You’ll lead the team, ensure outstanding customer experiences, and keep operations running smoothly—from serving guests to managing inventory and training staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example and takes pride in creating a positive, high-energy workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service
Train employees and assign duties to ensure smooth operations
Handle customer questions and resolve concerns with professionalism
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering/restocking
Prepare ice cream, decorate cakes & cupcakes, and create waffle products
Support daily opening/closing procedures and cash handling
Help build a positive, team-first culture
Cake decorating experience is a plus!
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus
Comfortable using POS systems and basic Microsoft Office
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
Passion for customer service and teamwork
