    Cold-Tech Refrigeration is a prominent commercial refrigeration and HVAC services business in the Intermountain West with a strong presence is several western states. Cold-Tech provides HVAC, refrigeration, hot equipment, maintenance, and other essential services to a wide variety of businesses with a primary focus on grocery stores, supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants.

    We are seeking the BEST service technicians to provide the BEST service to our highly valued customers as we continue to expand our ever-growing footprint across Northern Utah, Salt Lake City area and south to Central Utah. Our Salt Lake City Office service area goes from the Utah/Idaho border down to Payson and outlying areas. We are heavily focused in Salt Lake, Davis and Utah counties. 

    Service Technicians at Cold-Tech receive highly competitive compensation and generous benefits. 

    • Sign-on Bonus up to $2,500 (subject to experience)

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to lift 50lbs, climb a ladder and work in any weather condition
    • Universal EPA Certification
    • Valid Driver's License (no accidents or excessive moving violations in the past 7 years)
    • Safely operate and maintain company provided vehicle
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Be available for after-hours service to customers
    • Provide top quality customer service
    • Team player and can contribute meaningfully on group projects
    • Be able to follow written and oral instructions
    • Technician is required to maintain and supply all hand tools (including gauges)
    • Experience in commercial supermarkets, small refrigeration equipment, ice machines, HVAC, construction installation (traveling may be involved), hot foods and preventative maintenance a bonus
    • Understanding of EMS wiring and programming (CPC, COMTROL, NOVAR and DANFOSS, MICRO THERMO) a bonus
