JOB TITLE: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER I
DURATION: 12 MONTHS
LOCATION: KALAMAZOO, MI 49001
OVERVIEW:
· This role will support PC1 site team with data for decision making, contribute to planning process and participate in customer meeting cadence as needed.
· Activities include, but are not limited to: release customer forecast, monthly reporting, monitoring of production orders, system maintenance and site visit coordination in support of PC1 customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Kalamazoo PC1 Supply Chain Support Specialist:
· Monitor, maintain and review multiple systems on a weekly basis in order to manage materials (including customer supplied materials (CSM), customer orders, capacity and inventories.
· Use SAP/ERP and other systems to generate periodic customer reporting.
· Use SAP/ERP and other systems as necessary to vet customer forecasts against Master Supply Agreements (MSA) and identify significant changes and/or trends.
· Use SAP/ERP to release customer orders and forecast element to site.
· Update firm Supply to Order (S2O) elements in terms of confirmed quantity and confirmed ship by date.
· Update reason code on delayed S2O to exempt Failure to Supply (FTS) as needed.
· Monitor batches and shipment process to ensure all items are on track and identify any risk to on-time shipment to customers.
· Prepare reports to support and participate in customer meeting cadence (including, but not limited to: completed shipment reporting, inventory reporting, CSM inventory report.
· Develop and share standard work instructions and best practices for repeated tasks.
· Maintain customer system data within Pfizer systems.
· Plan and coordinate logistics and facility set up for customer face to face visits and communicate with internal and external customers as needed.
· Initiate PC1 new material PC1 “Item Adds”.
· Works closely with Operations, Quality, Warehouse and other internal and external Customers to problem solve, resolve issues and ensure that customer service goals are met.
· Maintain tracker for PC1 custom API and DP RFPs and support reporting as needed.
· Other duties, as assigned.
· Normal work schedule is 8 hours between 7am and 5pm
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelors in business or scientific field, preferably with supply chain concentration; 2+ years relevant experience preferred
· Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle changing deadlines
· Effective written and oral communication skills (in English) to deal with all levels of customers
· Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
· Able to follow written and verbal directions and properly handle confidential documents
· Be able to understand and follow standard operating procedures
· Able to work both independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment is essential
· Must be self-motivated and adhere to the performance metrics
· Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel
· Willing to learn new and changing responsibilities
· Possess flexibility to respond to changing conditions and priorities
· Be able to independently respond to routine and non-routine requests for information and inquiries
· Ability to learn and consistently adhere to safety requirements present in a manufacturing environment.
· Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
· Basic understanding of manufacturing environment is preferred
· Knowledge of GMP requirements preferred
· Experience in ERP/MRP in work setting preferred
· Customer service skills are preferred.
· Procedures: Must comply with all applicable cGMPs, company policies and Pfizer standards including site procedures, API and DP Procedures.
