COLLABERA: EXCELLENT JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR TECHNICAL WRITER - AUDIT & COMPLIANCE

LOCATION: PLANO, TX (ONSITE ROLE)

DURATION:12 MONTHS CONTRACT, POSSIBLE EXTENSION

PAY RATE: $50/HR TO $55/HR

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience creating, writing, editing, and proofreading technical materials such as manuals and/or operating procedures
• Excellent skills in Word, Power Point and Visio and creating PDF files
• Demonstrated excellent writing abilities, attention to detail, grammar, and proofing skills
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results with minimal direction
• Able to utilize collaboration tools effectively to work in a virtual environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICAL WRITER INCLUDE:

• Organizing material and writing assignments based on agreed to project plan
• Proactively coordinating and leading working sessions with subject matter experts to confirm understanding of current processes, tools, existing written materials, and department goals
• Analyzing existing draft information to be incorporated into final products and edits, or re-writing material prepared by others
• Determining the clearest and most logical way to present information for user comprehension
• Generating innovative ideas for design, structure, format, content, numbering, workflow, and presentation based on knowledge and experience
