    12 MONTHS LONG PROJECT WITH HIGH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

     

    "PAY - $35/HR - $37/HR"

     

    REMOTE TO START, WILL MIGRATE BACK INTO OFFICE AFTER COVID RESTRICTIONS

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • EDUCATION: Required Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Statistics 
    • Proficient with use of Spotfire, Tableau and other data visualization tools. 
    • EXPERT Excel user; Graphs, slicers, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, formula’s, automations, etc. 
    • Proficiency with data visualization, data modeling and statistical analysis – Communicate data and tell a story with it. 
    • Required 2-3 years of work experience with data analysis and reporting to identify trends, extract relevant insights and make strategic recommendations. 
    • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and R&D teams to facilitate continuous improvement efforts collaboratively with team and peers 
    • Data-driven – You are able to tell a story through data; you do not get lost in data; you understand the full data landscape, your destination and how you will arrive there 
    • Self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a matrix organization. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with a creative mindset 
    • Understands the value of process-centric and strategic approach to business analysis and change management. 
    • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by visualizing and presenting data in a compelling way to present and influence at all organizational levels including peer level cross-functional teams as well as executive management. 
    • Strong project management, multi-tasking, and business planning skills; must be strategic and analytical thinker. 
    • An innovative spirit, can-do attitude and strong sense of customer service

    • P&L experience 
    • Experience working with commercial business/business acumen 
    • Marketing background/agency

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Integrated customer experience team at Client is seeking 2 Business Analysts to help our marketing organization provide data and analysis support. 
    • Insights and strategic perspectives from this individual will help brand managers leverage quantitative reporting to help make decisions about overall brand P&L and marketing programs. 
    • Critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to influence without authority and drive decision in a fast pace business unit are critical skills in this role. 
    • As a data-driven member of the team, this role will serve as an analytics expert and key demand planner using meaningful insight from data to help leader make better business decisions. 
    • Beside day to day analytic leadership, this high impact role will also provide demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models. 
    • Be a subject-matter expert in the key business processes, systems, and data sources that facilitate enterprise level thinking from P&L perspective. 
    • Ability to make effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from various sources and compiling into a digestible meaningful format 
    • Gathers data from multiple sources, normalizes and analyzes those data providing Companion Animal & Equine business with unique data insights to drive programs effectiveness and efficiency 
    • Be the main contact person for all brand analytic needs working directly with Marketing, Sales, Management, Commercial Operations and Supply Chain teams. 
    • Provides ongoing business/operational metrics, developing predictive forecasting models, calculating business financial analytics and designing data needs for future business analytics. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional commercial teams to ensure alignment between business needs and solutions. 
    • Develop, track and analyze key performance indicators for marketing and selling programs. 
    • Provide Business leads with operational metrics across multiple programs to measure ROI and opportunity to improve for future executions 
    • Plan and coordinate multiple projects on tight timeline to support executive stakeholders 
    • Understand and use statistical predictive models such as correlation, regression, ANOVA and time series models to identify trends, make forecasts and provide projected figures 
    • Work closely with data engineering, data science, scrum masters, project managers to successfully partner with brand leads to unlock growth opportunities 
    • Collaborate with other business functions with data collection methods and centralization of data as well as extending current data sources with Third party data vendors 
    • Propose and implement business metrics with data scientist from commercial operations to develop analytic infrastructure to support business strategies and opportunities for improvement 
    •  Please note – Manager is not looking for data scientists or programmers with technical skills, SQL, etc.
