    PERMANENT, FULL-TIME POSITION IN PORTLAND, OREGON

    Are you a Software Developer that has the ability to see the big picture and enjoys migrating legacy systems for cutting-edge results?

    We are looking for a Software Engineer that is familiar with PowerBuilder and can migrate legacy systems into Python.

    You might have familiarity with Java (Springboot) or C# .netCore as well.

    Having Visual Basic, and familiarity with Javascript libraries such as React and Redux will help you hit the ground running.

    Our client uses Okta for the internal security authentication and Jira for the ticketing system.

    We are recruiting local candidates for this direct-hire permanent job in Portland, offering remote and hybrid work opportunities and great benefits.

    YOU’LL EXCEL IF YOU HAVE...

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
    • 5+ years professional experience
    • Fluent in Python
    • Strong in Javascript (React) in developing responsive web pages
    • Proficiency in front end frameworks and workflows such as React, Redux
    • Familiar with modern infrastructure tools and pipelines such as Gitlab CI/CD
    • Knowledgeable of PowerBuilder environments
    • Familiar with backend technologies like SpringBoot (Java) or .netCore (C#)
    • DevOps, unit testing, and testing frameworks (example: React testing libraries)
    • Familiar with Kubernetes and Okta
    • Familiar with Jira and Confluence

    WHAT YOU’D DO:

    • Deliver full-stack solutions
    • Work in both front end and back end
    • Design, architect, and build web applications
    • See the big picture and make sound architecture decisions
    • Build reusable cross-platform components for future use
    • Translate design and wireframes into high-quality code
