    Orten Cavanagh Holmes & Hunt, LLC, a busy, stable law firm representing homeowner associations, has an opening for a full-time Collections Paralegal for our vibrant downtown Denver office. Benefits: • Hybrid remote schedule available after a probationary period • Flexible work schedule negotiable • Paid medical and disability insurance • Voluntary dental, vision, accident, and life insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts • Generous 401(K) Match • Annual bonus program • Paid holidays and PTO • RTD EcoPass card • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Responsibilities: • Promote respectful, professional relationships with homeowners and colleagues • Draft routine statements, motions, pleadings, and/or other legal documentation • Communicate effectively with clients and debtors, both orally and in writing • Prepare and file motions and pleadings • Maintain account responsibility, including calendaring deadlines Qualifications: • One to three years of collection experience, particularly with community association collections • Professional and effective written communication skills with excellent grammar, punctuation, tone, and spelling • Strong organizational skills to manage workload and prioritize multiple assignments • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment • Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and CCIOA • Professional phone etiquette and demeanor a must • Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office • Punctual attendance • High School diploma or equivalent required • Candidate must be located within the Denver Metro area Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
