    Help Students Build Their Future!

We're looking for thoughtful, driven mentors to work closely with students navigating the U.S. college and graduate admissions process. This is a highly relationship-driven role focused on long-term student development, strategic guidance, and meaningful mentorship (not just application review.)

You'll have the opportunity to support students as they explore academic interests, strengthen extracurricular profiles, develop compelling personal narratives, and prepare competitive applications for top programs.

If you enjoy coaching, writing, education, and helping ambitious students grow in confidence and direction, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working remotely with a flexible schedule.

    What You'll Do:

    • Build meaningful 1-on-1 relationships with students over months (and sometimes years!)
    • Guide students through college and graduate application strategy
    • Help students strengthen extracurricular, academic, and personal profiles
    • Edit essays and provide thoughtful feedback that encourages students' authentic voice and independent writing skills
    • Brainstorm creative academic, leadership, research, and professional experiences aligned with students' goals
    • Meet remotely with students and families
    • Collaborate with fellow mentors and senior team members to support student success
    • Manage a flexible caseload based on your availability and interests

    Why People Enjoy This Role:

    • Fully remote work
    • Flexible scheduling and caseload options
    • Opportunity to build meaningful mentoring relationships
    • Intellectually engaging and rewarding work
    • Collaborative and supportive team environment
    • Multiple engagement paths available, including part-time contract, part-time salaried, and potential full-time opportunities
    • Opportunity for long-term growth within the organization

You May Be a Great Fit If You:

    • Are an exceptional writer and communicator
    • Enjoy mentoring, coaching, or advising students
    • Have experience in education, admissions, academic advising, tutoring, consulting, or related fields
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university
    • Have teaching, admissions, graduate school, or research experience (strongly valued but not required)
    • Are organized, empathetic, and able to build trust with students and families

The compensation for this role will generally fall within the range of [$X - $Y] an hour, though compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on experience, expertise, availability, and level of engagement. We welcome open conversations throughout the hiring process and aim to align compensation with the strengths and impact each individual brings to the team.
