College Nannies Tutors of Edina is looking for outstanding MATH and SCIENCE Tutors or the upcoming 2018-2019 school year, with the option for summer start dates (summer hours are Mon-Fri, between 8AM and 7PM). If you enjoy making a difference in student's lives by helping them succeed academically than this position was made for you!

You set your schedule (5-15 hours per week) within the following hours: Monday- Thursday 3-9pm and Sundays 9am-7pm.

Core Subjects (must be able to tutor 2 or more subjects in each category):MATH: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trig, FST, Pre-Calc, and Calc (AP).SCIENCE: Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (including AP and IB levels)

Job Responsibilities:Assisting with homework and test/quiz preparationEnsuring students understand course concepts and materialIdentifying knowledge gaps and reviewing any necessary concepts with students (textbooks and resources provided)

Qualifications:Enjoy working with students in 6th-12th gradeSome experience teaching/coaching/mentoring in some capacity; school setting, church setting, daycare setting, peer tutoring, volunteer program, etc.GPA of 3.5 or higherGood study habits and organizational skills as evidenced by college transcripts

Pay is $14-19/hr, depending on qualifications. No driving required – we schedule back to back sessions that take place in our Learning Center!
