    The Chief Growth Officer is responsible for leading the Sales team at HealthFitness to achieve aggressive, sustained and profitable growth. This critical leadership role is responsible for growing and developing a high performing sales organization to achieve superior business results through structured planning and execution of sales strategies.  As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Chief Growth Officer role requires strong executive presence, strategic mindset and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.  If you are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record transforming sales teams and strategies and leading them to success, we’d like to hear from you.

    Required Skills

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

    Strategy & Leadership

     

    • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
    • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
    • Define optimal sales force structure
    • Develop necessary organizational structure and strategy to succeed in identified markets.
    • Develop annual revenue goals for sales team
    • Ensure the right incentive structure is in place to drive desired business results
    • Leadership role in market and competitor intelligence.
    • Leadership role in development of market message and value proposition.
    • Suggest changes to strategy and tactics in response to changes in market trends or competitor positioning.

     

    Execution

     

    • Hire, manage, and develop the sales team
    • Always be recruiting exceptional sales talent
    • Ensure we have the right talent to achieve goals.
    • Define, execute, and oversee sales training to enable optimal sales production
    • Ensure we have the right performance expectations and measures and hold team accountable
    • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements when needed
    • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to senior leadership team
    • Manage key relationships with industry partners
    • Assist sales team in closing large opportunities as needed
    • Work with sales team to regularly monitor sales pipeline and deal flow to achieve sales quotas

    Required Experience

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    Key qualifications include:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience within a progressive high growth environment specialized in health, wellness, insurance, or a related service industry.
    • Proven experience in lead generation methods, pipeline development, and tracking metrics that achieve desired sales results
    • Successful & proven experience closing large strategic opportunities
    • Proven leader who can bring rigor to the organization, deliver on milestones and scale the business.
    • Demonstrated success in building relationships with key distribution partners
    • Strategic thinking necessary to sit at the table with the CEO and HealthFitness Leadership Team and contribute to the strategic growth agenda, and to communicate strategy
    • Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to influence and persuade
    • Must be adaptable as well as comfortable with change and ambiguity and possess the ability to operate in a dynamic, evolving environment

     

    Education

    Required:

    Bachelors’ degree and 15 + years related business experience, or equivalent combination education and experience.
