 JOB PROFILE

Ensure the ability to meet or exceed brand quality standards with global responsibility for establishment, maintenance and adherence to material and finished product quality standards.

Oversee and manage material and finished product quality by setting, implementing, training and monitoring standards. Implement a total quality management approach to improve and monitor mill and manufacturers performance of quality, efficiency, on time delivery, cost and achieving our social and environmental goals. Identify & leverage the best practices to achieve these results.

1.  Oversee global material and finished garment quality standards.
2. Implement right-first-time quality management including lean methods, risk assessment and process efficiency principles.
3. Train on quality management and monitor mill performance.
4. Collaborate with internal and external partners throughout the PLC process on quality management.
5. Lead Quality Assurance and Domestic Production teams.
6. Key partner with Design R&D, Social Consciousness, Global Sourcing, mills and vendors.
7. Ensure Supply Chain Excellence goals for cost, quality, on time delivery, social and environmental goals are met.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set and implement fabric, yarn, apparel and accessory quality standards.
2. Partner with and train mills and factories on quality inspection standards and expectations.
3. Evaluate mill and factory efficiency, standards and practices; implement plan for continuous improvement with right-first time quality management and lean methods to improve efficiency.
4. Work with mills and factories on continuous improvement plans.
5. Track and measure mill and factory quality, social and environmental performance, in partnership with internal teams.
6. Solicit & share feedback on performance with internal and external partners.
7. Create a new factory evaluation and onboarding process.
8. Research and onboard new mills and factories, in partnership with internal teams.
9. Oversee NY CMT production operations.
10. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset & take a proactive approach to problem solving.
11. Support and implement social and environmental Riverbanks goals.
12. Seek ongoing education around your discipline, industry and competition.
13. Mentor and train teams for continuous improvement and supply chain excellence.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Demonstrated skills in leading global functional strategies and execution of brand quality standards.
• Leadership experience in setting quality standards, policies and procedures.
• 5+ years in a functional management capacity

• High school diploma or equivalency (Associates’ degree  in criminal justice, public safety or a related field preferred)
• Four years of recent experience in law enforcement, security or public safety
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good written communication skills
• Sensitivity to and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse college environment
• Must be certified in CPR or become certified in CPR within two months of employment and must maintain certification at all times
• Must be certified in first aid and the use of Automatic External Defibrillators in an American Red Cross course (or the substantial equivalent thereof) or become certified within two months of employment and must maintain certification at all times
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet all eligibility requirements to drive a college vehicle and be insured under the college’s automobile insurance
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
• Must be capable of responding to and traveling to any college facility for unexpected events or emergencies that may occur at any time and any day
