    KID'S COLLEGE INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS 

     

    The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) believes in nurturing children's potential year round. Kids’ and Teen College at the College of Southern Maryland continues with its tradition of offering comprehensive exciting youth programming for children ages five to 14 years old. It allows for the opportunity to explore their interests on a college campus while discovering themselves.

     

    CSM is currently accepting applications for instructors to teach various courses for our Kids' and Teen College targeting children ages 5-6, 7-10 and 11-14. Various subjects include: Arts and Crafts, Music and Theater, Languages, Math, Photography, Reading and Writing, Science, and Cooking and Baking.

     

    Design your own schedule--classes are mix-and-match, allowing you to work mornings or afternoons for one, two, or more weeks!

    College of Southern Maryland conducts background checks in order to ensure the safety and well-being of the college's staff and students. Final candidates for these positions will be subject to the following background checks: Criminal History Check, Child Protective Services and Fingerprint Check.  

     

     

     

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s of Science or Bachelor’s of Arts Degree preferred
    • One year of teaching experience with targeted age group of 5-6, 7-10, 11-14, strong interpersonal skills, and some curriculum development experience.
