    In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting Project Managers with the active management of design, construction, and closeout phases of commercial, educational building, and/or corporate interiors projects in the New England region, but primarily in MA, to ensure the success of investors, owners, and occupants.

    WHO YOU ARE

    We’re looking for assistant project managers who are organized, have a keen eye for the details and have experience in assisting project managers with complex projects from start to finish – on time and on budget.

    You’re good at building relationships and executing tasks as assigned. You are energetic and passionate about your career.

    You understand the project management process and knowledge of the various processes practiced by the architects, engineers, and other consultants.

    You can assist with the process and ensure the clients’ goals and objectives are being addressed and met within the financial and schedule parameters for multiple stakeholders. Your strengths include supporting, assessing, and organizing projects related to scheduling, logistics, sequencing, cost, quality and progress as well as processing change orders.

    You are skilled at reviewing and evaluating project related materials such as project descriptions, drawings and specifications, budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals for services prepared by others, as well as reviewing construction documents on a regular basis for conformance to project goals, value engineering, and constructability.

    You are knowledgeable in software such as the Microsoft Suite to assist with or monitor project related documents such as monthly reports, budgets, schedules, presentations, minutes, insurance tracking logs, etc.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience and a strong background in the building design / construction, architecture, and/or engineering field. Corporate interiors experience a Plus
    • Demonstrated experience in problem solving skills, planning and organizing, decision-making; and Demonstrated ability to manage various tasks, schedules, and deliverables
    • Enthusiasm to promote and drive implementation of projects

    BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Strong teamwork capabilities
    • Ability to multi-task in stressful situations; prioritizing abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
    • Proficient in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

    • You’ve assisted on several building projects through various phases (Design, Construction, and/or Move-in)
    • You have a track record of being reliable, efficient, and driven to ensure utmost client satisfaction.
    • Your project team members report positively on your ability to handle change, communicate, and coordinate between multiple projects, and deliver tasks in a timely manner.
