The Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) is a 10,500+ member, not-for-profit organization based in Plano, Texas, with satellite locations in North Dallas, McKinney, and Wylie. CCAR is currently seeking a Part-time Professional Development Coordinator. This part-time position reports directly to CCAR’s Director of Professional Development and is responsible for department support. Ideal candidates should thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills, administrative skills, the ability to tolerate interruptions, and flexibility with their work schedule. Responsibilities: • Serve as host and monitor of virtual Zoom classes, ensuring all attendees adhere to Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Continuing Education (CE) rules and regulations, as well as CCAR’s “Guidelines for Zoom Classes.” • Provide the opening welcome, introduce the instructor, and go over class rules and regulations prior to the start of each class. • Multi-task monitoring virtual courses while answering phones and helping with day-of-class registrations and cancellations. • Handle course detail work including creating attendance reports, creating and updating monitor sheets, creating and sending class reminder emails with proper information including course materials.  • Create and send out TREC completion rosters at the end of each necessary course. Follow-up as necessary with students until the roster is complete. • Submit course completion paperwork to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and Texas REALTORS®.  • Answer education-related and association-related questions and promote upcoming classes by quickly and professionally respond to all telephone and email inquiries. • Access CCAR’s membership database to register members for classes, send class reminder emails, charge no-show fees, etc. • Organize and update course materials within the database, keep up-to-date instructor contact information, and maintain accurate class records including saving all completed class documents digitally. • Prepare virtual classrooms prior to class start—ensuring all PowerPoints, class material, and sign-in sheets are ready. • Other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Association. Qualifications: • High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred. • Have superior communication abilities, including writing, editing, and proofreading skills and the ability to speak in front of large groups. • Must be able to set goals, stay on task, meet deadlines, and tolerate interruptions. • Must have a positive attitude, be able to work well with various personalities, and resolve conflict when needed. • Must be thorough, not afraid to ask questions, and have the ability to remember instructions and act on those instructions. • Must have an excellent work ethic and attendance. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. • Previous experience working with databases is strongly preferred. • Previous experience hosting Zoom meetings is strongly preferred. • Experience working on or with committees is strongly preferred. • Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred. • Ability to be on feet for long periods of time. • IT IS OUR POLICY THAT EMPLOYEES OF CCAR CANNOT HOLD AN ACTIVE REAL ESTATE LICENSE (LICENSE MAY BE PLACED IN A LIMITED REFERRAL OFFICE). Compensation: $16 hourly
