A Collin County institution since 1958, we’re a member-based, not-for-profit Realtor association known for providing professional and personable service to our members. As the fifth-largest real estate association in Texas, we serve our 9,000 members from our Plano headquarters, as well as our satellite locations in North Dallas, McKinney, and Wylie
As the primary source of real estate information and influence, our team of specialists is dedicated to connecting area Realtors with the services, tools, and programs that enhance their careers. We are seeking an individual who is a team player and can provide a first-class experience to our members. We need someone who is eager to assist our members with their education-related questions and needs, as well as provide first-class online and in-person course and instructor support.
COMPENSATION:
$14 - $15 hourly
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer education-related questions by quickly and professionally responding to all inquiries, to help ensure our members receive the quality and personable service we’re known for
- Access the membership database to register members for classes and send class reminders to aid in a positive and stress-free education experience for our members
- Organize classrooms prior to start, clean-up classrooms at completion, and provide support during online and in-person classes to ensure students and instructors have a top-notch experience
- Handle course detail work including organizing files, making copies of course materials, drafting reports, and confirming attendee registrations, to ensue all classes have the proper support and materials needed
- Submit course completion paperwork to the Texas Real Estate Commission and Texas Realtors to ensure members receive credit for classes taken to maintain their real estate license
- Assist the Professional Development Director in the preparation and administration of committee meetings including taking minutes, printing and preparing meeting materials, and maintaining committee attendance records to ensure meetings run smoothly and professionally
- Ensure spaces utilized by students are kept clean and professional by maintaining the coffee bar, clearing class meals, washing and putting away dishes, and repackaging leftover food
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Superior writing, proofreading, and public speaking abilities
- Stays on task, meets deadlines, and tolerates interruptions
- Positive attitude, works well with various personalities, resolves conflict
- Teamwork: Reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish an overall collaborative working relationship
- Work ethic: Possesses a strong willingness to work hard, be thorough, and ask questions when needed
