    Part-time Events-Meeting Coordinator The Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) boasts a fantastic team of professionals and we’re adding to it! However, attendance at staff meetings, staff retreats, and assigned CCAR events/meetings is required—this may include early morning, evening, and weekend hours.This position is based at CCAR’s Headquarters office located at 6821 Coit Road, Plano, TX 70524. However, this position will be required to attend meetings and events at off-site locations, as well as CCAR’s satellite offices. The Collin County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) is a 10,500+ member, not-for-profit organization based in Plano, Texas, with satellite locations in North Dallas, McKinney, and Wylie. CCAR is currently seeking a Part-time Events/Meeting Coordinator. This part-time position reports directly to CCAR’s Director of Events and is responsible for assisting in the planning and administration of all assigned events and meetings. Responsibilities: • Support the Director of Events in planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of assigned Association events/meetings, including advocacy fundraising events • Organize and maintain CCAR’s event database, event spreadsheets, and event budgets • Submit works orders and room layouts for all onsite events/meetings • Assist with all logistical event details, including securing and processing advertiser payments, event/meeting registration, room set-up and clean-up, food/beverage needs, audiovisual, etc.  • Assist with updating and sending weekly event status reports • Work closely with the Communications Department to coordinate and request design of event/meeting materials, promotion of events/meetings to the membership, etc. • Work closely with various Association committees and members in the planning and execution of events/meetings • Answer any event-related questions and promote upcoming events by quickly and professionally responding to all telephone and email inquiries • Other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the Association Qualifications: • High school diploma • Minimum of two years of event/meeting planning experience • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters  • Experience with membership databases preferred • Strong communication abilities, including excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Superior organization, follow-up, and time management skills • Must be able to stay on task, meet deadlines, and tolerate interruptions • Must have a positive attitude, be able to work well with various personalities, and resolve conflict when needed • Must be thorough, not afraid to ask questions, and have the ability to remember instructions and act on those instructions • Must be assertive with the ability to make decisions, take independent action, and identify potentially more effective methods of work operation • Must be self-directed, flexible, and a team player • IT IS OUR POLICY THAT EMPLOYEES OF CCAR CANNOT HOLD AN ACTIVE REAL ESTATE LICENSE (LICENSE MAY BE PLACED IN A LIMITED REFERRAL OFFICE) Compensation: $16 hourly
