    Colonial Life, a national worksite voluntary benefits communication and enrollment company specializing in bottom-line impacting employer and HR services, is looking for a new sales manager with long-term career interests.

    The Assistant Sales Manager contracted role involves:

    Training, mentoring and motivating a team of independent sales agents with the help of corporate recruiting and training partners

    Business-to-business employee benefits sales

    Sourcing, attracting, interviewing and selecting quality individuals to contract with the company under your leadership

    Field training/joint field work with your district partners

    Conducting sales meetings and orientations for new and veteran sales agents

    Recommended experience, skills and motivations:

    Passion for people development

    1 year of B2B sales experience

    Experience in leading a staff/team of sales agents

    Recruiting experience

    Strong work ethic

    Willingness to lead by example and demonstrate what it takes to win

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Life and Health Insurance License (Required for contracting and appointment, but can be obtained during the onboarding process)

    Access to training and development will be provided as part of a structured onboarding and development system known as District Development Program. This is an independent contractor position and your appointment to Colonial Life will be determined by a mutually beneficial selection process and leadership analysis.
