    Colorado Divorce Law Group is hiring a family law litigation attorney. Candidates should be adept at handling all aspects of a family law case and be comfortable and confident in the courtroom. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in family law litigation is strongly preferred. Please provide a resume and a cover letter detailing the extent of your family law experience. Compensation- $90,000 - $150,000 plus depending on work ethic, personal drive, and success of the firm Responsibilities: • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Work closely with support staff and senior attorney to ensure thorough and diligent representation • Confidently handle all aspects of the case, including motions, financial disclosures, discovery, use of experts, preparation of witnesses, drafting relevant documents, preparing and attending trials and hearings Qualifications: • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position • J.D. in Colorado required (in good standing) • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and heightened emotional situations • Experience handling a complex caseload with multiple clients • Demonstrated experience litigating in court Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000+ yearly
