PIH Health is seeking an experienced Colorectal Surgeon to join our dynamic, patient-centered team in Whittier, California. This is a unique opportunity to be the solo dedicated colorectal surgeon in a well-established, high-volume referral area, working in collaboration with a large, integrated multi-specialty medical group.
Position Highlights:
- High-volume referral base : Robust network of primary care and specialty providers ensures a steady stream of complex and diverse cases.

General Surgery Call :
- 5 general surgery call shifts per month.

Required Skills
- Significant experience with all aspects of treating patients with all types of general surgical procedures including diagnosis and medical treatment.
- In addition, should possess the advanced knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Experience in the interpretation, magnetic resonance imaging, CT scans, and other diagnostic tests utilized in general surgery.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities
- Independent performer and demonstrate self-assessment of their outcomes.
Required Experience
- Current California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Robotics trained with experience in minimally invasive colorectal procedures
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development to maintain licensure and clinical excellence
