The Master Scheduler is in charge of the production schedule's management and implementation.
They will collaborate with a cross-functional team to organize the flow of work orders and materials within and between departments in order to meet and exceed the expectations and needs of our customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory.
• Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues or gather additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and other cross functional departments.
• Coordinates with engineering on deviations to maintain the bill of operations and bill of materials.
• Analyze, prepare, and create schedule needed for production.
• Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectations.
• Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand.
• Follow-up with all teams to expedite flow of materials and work orders to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or an equivalent field or an equivalent field, or any degree with a significant mathematical or statistical component.
• Masters Preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years prior experience in Planning/Scheduling materials and work orders
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working with MRP/ERP systems
