    Columbia Aluminum Products, LLC a manufacturing company located in Corona, CA is looking for a full-Time, top-notch Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will have excellent communication, and customer service skills with strong attention to detail. The incumbent will take part in the customer service department which collaborates with other departments to achieve customer service satisfaction. The Customer Service Representative Implements and monitors processes to ensure proactive identification of quality, delivery, and fielded product issues with the objective of achieving 100% customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Customer Service Lead will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
    • Receives and processes orders in an accurate and timely manner, exceeding customer expectations.
    • Processes EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    • Processes RTS (ready to ship)
    • Process orders for customers including big box retailers such as Home Depot (big box supplier)
    • Email/Follow up with customers by sending confirmation of shipments.
    • Answer customer inquiries via email, phone calls or fax
    • Communicates with customers to provide information and answer questions related to Purchase Orders and RMA with an aim to resolve all inquiries within 24 hours of request.
    • Generate lead times and pricing with support from sales and operations.
    • Receive orders and provide order acknowledgements to all customers and sales department.
    • Maintain appropriate customer communications throughout sales cycle.
    • Maintain customer status providing inputs as to applicable follow-up by senior management and manufacturing personnel.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for initiating customer installations
    • Work directly with the operations department as customer problems arise.
    • Update manufacturing staff and management as customer delivery schedules change
    • Maintain customer order portals as needed.
    • Work with Manufacturing Management to aid in the fulfilment of open orders
    • This includes active engagement with the purchasing manager and operations manager.
    • Interact with Manufacturing team to continually update the status of open orders.
    • Work with Finance on pricing adjustments as needed.
    • Ensure applicable follow-up either directly or by notifying the appropriate internal party.
    • Maintain appropriate databases on number of quotes, type of product, application, percent closure and other useful metrics to be defined.
    • Assist in maintaining current Price List and Sales Rep Discount Schedule
    • Track open quotes by contacting distributors and representatives.
    • Track quotes and sales by market, application, product, and territory
    • Maintain the appropriate database to track incoming calls, root cause for the complaint, issue resolution and other to be defined metrics.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer for all Customer related complaints and returns.
    • Ensure updated quotes are issued in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up.
    • Run analytical reports using excel.
    • Management and/or Supervisory experience required

    Qualifications and Experience

    To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential job function assigned satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Knowledge and experience with processing EDI and RTS
    • 3 years of experience working with big box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s or similar.
    • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry or similar industry
    • Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
    • Proficient standard office equipment skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent phone etiquette.
    • Knowledge of AS400 or similar ERP
