    POSITION SUMMARY

     

     

    We are excited to add a dynamic, motivated and fully-capable Senior Administrative Assistant to our growing operations support team at our Union City, CA location. You will independently manage a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the department. You will have all the skills and abilities of an administrative professional who has supported many clients and departments in previous experiences. You thrive in a fast paced environment and are a master of prioritization.  You are a pro at managing multiple requests and are still able to meet the demands and deadlines required by your internal-client groups.  Jumping into new territories and taking on projects you may have not experienced before excites you and in the past you have proven to overcome those barriers with successful outcomes. Microsoft Excel is a primary tool you are familiar with leveraging to get multiple types of work requests and projects complete. Finally, you are motivated to do more and will take the initiative to learn about the business and how your role supports our teams. 

     

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

     

     

    • Coordinates and supports small projects
    • Analyzes complex information requests and determines solution
    • Assists in support of the NorCal Wireless Device program
    • Schedules meetings, special events travel arrangements
    • Backups up the Administrative Receptionists tasks as needed

     

     

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

     

     

    • Strong customer centric skills
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Practices and chooses appropriate alternatives from among predefined policies and procedures to complete mainly routine work
    • Ability to independently exercise standard problem solving and decision making skills
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence. 
    • Excellent knowledge of Word Processing software, Internet software, and Spreadsheet software (i.e MS Office – Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

     

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

     

     

    • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in administrative role
