    POSITION SUMMARY

    As a Senior Account Executive at Envise, you will pro-actively engage new and existing customers, from all industries, with face to face meetings, and you will develop consultative business relationships with end-users, building property/facility managers and general contractors to better understand their needs and to develop a winning sales strategy.  This role reports to the Branch Manager.

     

    POSITION DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY:

    Envise is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Mechanical Service and Building Automation Systems organization.  Within this team, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing business within our existing client base and securing new customers to our business. In this role, you will be tasked with pro-actively engaging customers and potential customers to develop relationships with end-users and building property/facility managers in order to understand and develop the relevant sales strategy.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Works with the Sales and Service Managers and Teams to identify and qualify prospects and clients to pursue
    • Regularly meets with prospective clients to develop needs and ultimately sell Mechanical Projects, Services and Preventive Maintenance Agreements
    • Develop sales leads through personal contacts, professional organization participation and general market awareness. Target and contact key decision makers within the industry, and build long-term relationships that you will manage
    • Develop a specific business plan and maintain a funnel of opportunities in your CRM that will provide a path to success
    • Maintains a positive client relationship, resolves customer disputes, and deliver the ultimate customer experience at every opportunity.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University and three years of HVAC and Mechanical related business development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and mechanical project development Professional sales training would be a plus.
    • Must have excellent demonstrated sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, proposing and closing, and the ability to develop warm sales prospects and to cold call for new business.
    • Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.  
    • Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and must be able to develop and present power point presentations.
    • Must be an expert in mechanical systems, while able to develop written proposals that can clearly articulate the company’s recommendations both technically and financially.
    • Must be capable of developing and managing major accounts (existing and new) to effectively maintain positive relationships and continued work from the assigned existing client base, while adding new major accounts to the portfolio.
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Must have demonstrated experience working with Federal Government Agencies in the DMV geography.
    • Must be familiar with Federal procurement processes like 8a, SBA, GSA, UMCS, ESPC and others.
    • Should be active on social media and current with market, financial and technology trends in the mechanical, building automation, energy, IoT, and analytics fields.
