POSITION SUMMARY

How would you like to be part of building the Bay area?  With Envise, you'll be able to see our projects come to life!

As a Service Order Proposal Manager you will be responsible for managing the overall proposal development process for service orders which includes a high level of attention to administrative duties, organization, and expert communication.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Partners with Service Technicians and develops spot and pull-through estimates and sends proposal to customer. Follows up with customers with awarded and pending proposals.
• Manages materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on needs, skill sets and availability.
• Develops, generates and interprets reports. Updates and retains customer account information related to the proposal log.
• Fulfills material requisitions from field staff, estimating or fabrication shop and procures and ensures product is ordered at a competitive price and delivery of product to user within required timeframes.
• Manages bulk deliveries of rough products, to meet deadlines.
• Prepares and manages purchase orders and follows up on past-due purchase orders.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL:

• Associate’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred, including HVAC service
• Product knowledge of pipe, valves, and fittings for plumbing / mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate a personal computer using spreadsheet, word processing, data base software, and experience using ERP software. (COINS preferred)
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, systems, and practices, and the ability to negotiate and procure items in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
