    We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and extroverted team member who has a passion for caring at our Senior Club.

    Our club focuses on providing care for seniors with cognitive disabilities, including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. As our Activities Supervisor you will be responsible for the development, planning, and coordinating of activities that address the needs and limitations of our club members. The ideal candidate must also possess high organization skills and the ability to collaborate and work well with team members to accomplish job responsibilities.

    Job Title: Program Director Pay: Depending on Experience Hours: Between 25-30 hours per week

    Job Responsibilities

    Promote a creative and social atmosphere for our club members through scheduled events, activities, and exercise.

    Coordinate and attend special functions and activity programs for major Holidays.

    Ensure activities and events acknowledge and meet cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity of our club members and their families.

    Develop and execute ideas and the necessary communication materials needed to announce events. Ensure that items needed for events are ordered and set up according to event specifications.

    Plan and host individual and/or group activities that are creative, educational, and social for our club members.

    Setting-up the room for activities and clean-up following activities.

    Decorate for holidays and special occasions.

    Perform special projects as requested by the supervisor.

    Assist with other tasks, as needed, such as maintaining the birthday board.

    Requirements

    Previous experience is preferred.

    Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.

    Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

    Ability to motivate and encourage club members; knowledge of how to adapt life skills to the cognitive and functional ability of each club member.

    Outstanding customer service skills with a caring and compassionate behavior towards others.

    Experience working with the elderly or individuals with cognitive disabilities.

    Experience coordinating and planning events and/or activities.

    Ability to work with our club members and their families to establish activities that are customized for their needs and wants.

    Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
