    Benefits of Short Shifts:(A short shift is any shift that is less than 4 hours.)

    You are paid a shift differential You are paid time & mileage between back to back shifts. You get to care for multiple clients and hear their stories. These are fun and interesting shifts.

    Most of our clients are in Avon, Simsbury, Canton, & Granby area.

    What you’ll be doing:

    Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.

    Provide assistance with personal care.

    Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.

    Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.

    Properly manage household needs.

    Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

    Requirements

    Drivers license with insured and reliable automobile

    Negative TB or chest xray required

    Dementia/ Hospice including end-of-life experience would be nice, but not necessary.

    Minimum one year of documented experience required

    Proof of professional training ie, CNA, HHA, PCA certificate would be a plus.

    Pass a drug test and background check

    • We do not mandate our employees to be vaccinated. However many of our clients are requesting Covid vaccinated employees.

    Please note that the pay for shifts less than four hours includes a shift differential. Shifts of four hours or more would pay slightly less per hour.
