    Looking for caregivers and CNAs to join our home care family

    We are looking for a dedicated individual for a gentleman living in a well established community in Portland. This location has easy access from I5, I84 as well as TriMet and Max. This caregiver will need to have a great attitude, be self driven and confident.

    This position is Sunday - Tuesday 2:30 pm - 9:00 pm and Wednesday 2:30 - 8:30 pm

    Job Summary:

    The caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

    Essential Functions:

    Personal Care

    o Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail /skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair, walker, crutches, cane), change of position, with toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding

    Companion/Sitter/Household Management

    o Provide companionship and respite services for family

    o Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms

    Medication Administration

    o Assist with the administration of medication

    Gather information on client’s needs and assist in any adjustment of the client’s care

    Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

    Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

    Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job

    A smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and data capture

    Caregiving or CNA experience preferred, will train the right person
