Responsibilities

Provide support as per the care plan to ensure client comfort and safety are met to the extent possible

Provide socialization, conversation and emotional reassurance to the client

Encourage participation in activities that stimulate and promote well-being and continued independence

Assist with personal care such as hygiene, grooming and basic care

Skills & Qualification

PSW certificate

Compassionate with a passion for helping others

Prior care giving experience with Dementia clients

Experience working with seniors in their home

Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner
