    We’re on the lookout for a Part Time (10 -20 hours) Director of Nursing to be part of our growing office:

    The Director of Nursing will be responsible for completing tasks in our office as well as in the field.

    What you’ll be doing:

    Provide care as defined within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act.

    Develop individualized plans of care for clients that incorporate analysis of data and current scientific findings.

    Review policies and updates as necessary. Communicate changes to all staff.

    Plan and implement in-service and continuing education programs to meet specific and ongoing training needs of Agency personnel.

    Implement and evaluate the orientation program for new Agency personnel.

    Ensure clinical records are maintained in compliance with state and federal laws including ACHC standards and conditions.

    Assist in the planning and development of clinical policies and procedures.

    Plan, direct, coordinate and monitor the delivery of all direct and indirect services to Agency home care clients.

    Perform comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.

    Provide interventions with a focus on achieving realistic client outcomes.

    Report changes to update the plan of care to reflect progress towards goals and outcomes.

    Maintain client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations.

    Act as Agency Administrator when that person is not available

    What we’re looking for:

    Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse

    Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

    Minimum of two (2) years in role of RN. Minimum of one years management experience in home health or related health care organization.

    Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct clinical personnel.

    CPR certified.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skill
