Looking to immediately staff female caregiver to the following shifts for an 8 years old non-verbal female client in Delmar.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Overnight) 9 pm-9 am

Saturday, Sunday (Whole Day) 9 am-9 pm

She is non-Verbal and incontinent. The caregiver needs to be patient, consistent, willing to adapt to situations, and looking for a long-term position. Training will be provided!

College students in the following studies (Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis), Classroom Assistants, DSP Professionals, Behavioral Interventionists and other energetic individuals with experience working with children and/or adults with/without challenging behaviors are encouraged to apply!

Care Provider Responsibilities:

Arrive at and from an assigned shift on time and properly document all shifts worked

Appropriately report any changes to the client’s mental/physical health or home environment immediately

Comply with rules and regulations pertaining to client health information, specifically HIPAA policies and procedures

Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication to client/family and 24Hr HomeCare staff

Requirements:

Experience with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities

2 forms of I-9 Compliant ID's Driver's License, State ID, Passport, Social Security Card, etc.

Negative tuberculosis test (within 2 years) or Clear Chest X-ray (within 5 years)

Compliance with background check protocols
