    ComForCare Senior Services is an agency providing home care in the Rochester, NY area. We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, organizational and time management skills.     RESPONSIBILTIES:

    Act as primary backup to Agency Schedulers

    Create and maintain personnel records for staff

    Prepare new hire orientation paperwork by updating, copying and collating materials

    Create and monitor position postings

    Review employment applications and resumes

    Ensure correct information is entered in onboarding and exit processes for employees

    Facilitate monthly employee listings (birthday, anniversary and employee of the month)

    Employee Performance Monitor

    Must be sensitive to the cultural diversity of others and facilita trusting relationships and partnerships with employees, co-workers and clients

    Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidates for this position should have: the ability to demonstrate, and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement; a customer focused attitude; communication skills (verbal and written); problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks / projects.

    EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

    College degree preferred; high school diploma required. Two plus years of proven administrative work experience, human resource-related experience a plus. The Human Resource Assistant must be competent and proficient with current technological methods and have exemplary communication, organizational and facilitation skills. HHA / PCA certification preferred.
