We are looking for Licensed RN. The RN can live in Phoenix (south area preferred), but must be willing to commute and travel overnights to Tuscon. This is a Part Time/PRN or even a Temporary role should you choose. You will also have the ability to fast track to leadership based on skills should you choose to do so as the company grows this location. This role reports directly to our Executive Director of Nursing (NP).

Responsibilities

Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care

Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to Director of Nursing and EMR system

Collaborate with Medical Director, social worker, chaplain and team regarding patients status and needs.

Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts

Monitor patient’s medication needs and provide insight to medical director and Director of Nursing

Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, online training's, etc

Skills

Proven experience as a registered nurse

Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

Hospice experience and knowledge

In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible and compassionate

Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

BSN, MSN or other diploma from a nursing program

Valid nursing license

Pay is not listed as we will discuss based on experience.
