    New hire bonus! $500 new hire reliability bonus for 500 hours worked! This equals $100 for every 100 hours (until you reach 500) with proven great reliability (no tardies or call-offs without documentation within the 100-hour increments).

    Important:

    This posting is for a client we have in the Canton Michigan area. The hours vary each week, and may include: 6am-4pm, 12pm-9pm, 8pm-8am, and potential on-call shifts that include a $50 stipend whether you are called in or not. With your application, please answer the questions and indicate what type of shifts you can potentially work.

    The tasks include light housekeeping, incontinence care, stand by assist, feeding, transfers, engagement, medication reminders, etc.

    There will also be the potential for hours with other clients in the Washtenaw and/or Livingston County Areas if you are interested.

    ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNA), medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.

    Flexible scheduling allows you to work WHEN and WHERE you want! No minimum hours are required per week! Potential options are full-time, part-time, and contingent/Pick up.

    Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $17 (firm) and depends on factors like experience and availability. This is base pay and there are also potential incentives for picking up last-minute shifts, special cases, and for some clients when becoming a part of their care team!

    Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Provide conversation and mental engagement.

    Provide assistance with daily household/personal care management through daily activities to help clients stay independent, and in their own homes.

    Incidental transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.

    Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.

    Provide companionship for the client. This includes accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.

    Provide assistance with personal care.

    Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.

    Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.

    Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.

    High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

    At least 1-year previous experience as an at home caregiver, or in senior communities/facilities.

    A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.

    Willingness to go directly to the client’s home. Preferences are noted for distance limitations.

    Willing to drive clients to appointments or provide transportation.
