TRAINING CONSULTANT

JOB SUMMARY

The Training Consultant will write and deliver webinar and in-person training programs on a variety of personal development subjects, including mental health, stress management, conflict resolution, parenting, elder care, relationships, health and wellness, and more. This individual will also consult with customers regarding their training needs, and make training recommendations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate personal development training programs that clients rate as highly engaging
• Write new materials or modify existing materials for training programs that are interactive and impactful
• Respond to a potentially large volume of client requests in a timely, organized, professional manner
• Adapt comfortably to a wide variety of training environments and audiences, from manufacturing floors to executive boardrooms, and everything in between
• Learn new subject matter quickly, including content areas such as mental health, stress management, parenting, conflict resolution, elder care, relationships, health and wellness, and more

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s required/Master’s preferred
• Preferably in Chicago but we're open for out of state candidates
• Experience in psychology, social work, or wellness fields preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in corporate environments
• Advanced presentation and organizational skills
• Focused customer service mindset
• Capable business writing skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
