    Casa Communications Technology S.L.U., an entity of Casa Systems, Inc., seeks to hire a LAB/OFFICE TECHNICIAN to join our engineering team based in Valencia, Spain. 

     

    The Lab/Office Technician impacts the organization by organizing the different company laboratories (RAN products, HW, SW and SQA Lab), supporting the team in the office networking maintenance, carrying out lab and office work to support engineers in the development of high performance 4G/5G/LTE and small cell and radio products.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    • Maintain and deploy test benches installing and configuring hardware and software components and applications to ensure usability the test benches.
    • Construct, maintain and operate standard laboratory equipment, for example RF Isolation Boxes, RF Testing equipment, etc.
    • Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware, troubleshooting hardware and software issues managing the tickets with IT Helpdesk in Andover’s IT team.
    • Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks, ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
    • Prepare and process physical and system transactions for shipments; assemble order contents, prepare address labels, prepare shipping documentation in compliance with import/export regulations, and coordinate transportation of products through authorized carriers.
    • Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition, providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting, and being responsible of repairing or replacing damaged equipment.
    • Order, maintain and manage inventory of products, office supplies, and computer equipment, identify shortages and place orders.
    • Organize office operations and procedures, managing relationships with vendors and service providers.
    • Access and time control management, providing as well network access to visitors.
    • Work with the team to have the laboratory well-stocked, resourced and organized.
    • Keep up-to-date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.
    • Organize and schedule network maintenance and evolution without deterring others from completing their work.
    • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
    • Help perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support HW and SW developments.
    • Perform routine tasks accurately and follow strict methodologies to complete analyses.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

     

    • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science.
    • 2+ to 5 years of related experience.
    • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
    • CCNA or similar certification.
    • Proficient in database programming, scripting programming (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby…) and software installation.
    • Possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer literate. Linux and Windows OSs. MS Office Suite.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.

    • Able to read and speak the English language fluently.

  • Qualifications
    • Must meet the requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), with either a Graduate degree in social work, psychology, or other behavioral health science field;
